I received a PM back today that the beta of Decision 5-5 will be ready by Tuesday, Wednesday at worse, if the gods of writing are good.

So there will be definitely the final version of the Queen of the Swarm this month.

In the mean time, I've begun writing on Let the Galaxy Burn. For the moment, there's only 3 000 words, but I've begun and the week to come should be enough to write plenty of good battles.

It will be interesting to see if there is anything left of Kings Landing when this is finished. For that matter, did they completely wipe out the alchemists, or have they left some surprises as in canon. I am looking forward to finding out either way.

Officially the Alchemists have been completely wiped out and their stocks of wildfire thrown into the nearest star. Of course, given that Rhaegar and his friends took command soon after, it's possible some things escaped their vigilance...
