This is The Burden of Electives, Chapter 52 of The odds were never in my favour. For the moment, I wish to give it a bit more time before I give to my beta, so this is the raw text, which may have some mistakes.

Still, it is available for my patrons a bit early; the beta-ed chapter will be posted on 22-24 December on ff.net...

Yay, very early christmas present! I like that now that school is back, lessons, rumors and not-immediately-life-threatening content is back. I'm happy I was right about whom Daphne would choose to rope Alex in. Given alex' internal reactions, future hormonal shenanigans will not be denied! One thing I find a bit odd is Malfoy not even showing the tiniest hint of change. Maybe Narcissa should slap him around a bit more.

You're welcome! Yes, part of the next chapters will be dedicated to school...though Alexandra being Alexandra, this is rapidly going to get stranger and stranger. Yep, there's going to be some hormonal changes on the horizon. Dear Draco departed Malfoy Manor with the best of intentions...as you can see , it didn't last...Narcissa will need to use a more...painful and humiliating method, I fear.
