Hello, there!

The writing and the correcting of chapter 55 of The Dance is not Over is officially over (though as always, if you catch a mistake, report it please, I will try to correct it before updating on the other websites).

It is, also officially, the biggest chapter of the story so far (around 26,000 words, I think).

Anyway.

With the end of this chapter, I am trying to propose some nice answers to the questions which have no doubt been asked before by some ASOIAF fans. I hope everyone will like it.

Questions like...what could possibly wound Balerion the Black Dread? (evil grin mandatory)

I will probably update this chapter soon everywhere, that way I will be able to answer all the questions and then shift to other things the reader enjoy...

OMG, this chapter was so good! You were able to completely change the direction of the story, and expand it so much! From the teasers, I was just thinking, ooh, more magic from Baela and whispers of things to come, and then bam, gods, demons, and the forteen flames!

Thanks a lot! And yes, this war is going to be the big timemark where magic is going to make its big return...

That was a fun read! Um, question though, I've noticed a few times you have used the phrase 'Pretending' such as in the quote from this chapter. > The idea from several unserious individuals of the Citadel pretending that Pentos and the Black Crown decided to stop the ascendency of the Republic Um, I'm not sure Pretending works there Or at least it feels a bit awkward in phrasing. In any case, the war for the beard as it goes forward looks to be a giant disaster for everybody involved. Looking forward to more.
