Hey everyone!
So welcome to the first and probably last "progress report". After receiving a few messages from you all, I understand that it would be preferable for WIP updates to be organized by project. Going forward, I'll stick to posting them as such ^^.
Now, on to the WIPS and what I've been working on!
So the first half of this month was mainly spent on creating a new model - the Bracken from Lethal Company! Some artistic freedom was taken in the overall design, possibly more closely resembling fanart you may have seen rather than the actual in game model. The final version of this character may have some minor changes, as I still have some control over its shape and form even in the final rigged model.
Some of the changes include replacing his hooves with these "planty like" feeling feet.
And obviously widening his hips :)
Here is a close up of the head sculpt. The final version will have the asymmetry that is seen in game.
Textures are fairly simple as most of the time he's in pitch black conditions.

Of course, I also needed to have an employee model. I ended up creating a kitbashed version, but upon further inspection, I realized it looked a bit too realistic for the overall aesthetic of my Bracken model. Thankfully, DiffusedLizard offered to redesign some of the armor and clothing to better fit the game's style. A big thank you to him for that!

The pose idea I had with this guy was with him getting plowed from behind by the flower boi. Something like this. At the moment the animation is on hold until the other model is completed
And finally for this project, back to the Bracken and an employee with a quick concept scene. This was done to just check out all the work together. From what I saw I basically need to improve the plant/leaf parts on the Bracken since at the moment it looks a little rough. Along with the eyes.
Finally, as not to leave you this month with no actual animation or post, I am also working on a quick scene testing out some new physics with Thunder. Animation WIP will be posted later on this month.
