I think you might be able to meet in the middle. Seems kinda unnecessary for there to be narration for what’s going on in the PC’s head. I think the bulk of the voices should be delivered by the girls in the game, but that’s just my thoughts

Many voiced dating games tend to just have the girls voiced anyways so it's not like it's a stange thing in the world of visual novels

I think I prefer the MC non voiced with the girls being voiced personally. Although if no one was voiced that would be fine.
