Always impressed by how much you pick up and understand from watching the show! That you can realize the fact of how those feathers ain't appear outta no where lmfaoo. (Though I'm not sure if you caught that Cid robbed a whole piano and transported underground in broad daylight). As for your realizaion on things are more serious when the side characters are center stage, is another good observation. Because this anime/story has 2 povs, Cid's and everyone else's, these are real people reacting to real events struggling to fight back but to Cid it's just larping lmao. But it makes an interesting dynamic of people reacting to Cid's BS.

I believe the girls can get possessed at different times, not sure if anything in particular brings it on or if it can happen at any time as long as they're a descendant of the heroes and they just have it in their blood waiting to come out.
