I get you about Toshiro. It is frustrating. It's the show don't tell stuff again. You TELL me he is a genius and captain level, but you don't really see that. Side effect of going against Aizen, I guess. Toshiro may be smart but constantly getting finessed by Aizen didn't really give us that. I really liked the tragedy of komamaru going out betrayed, just like Tosen. Revenge ain't it and it's too easy to succumb to it.

His writing is controversial? Is it like the things he includes in the story or something that makes it controversial? (Just genuinely curious ) and yea dude that’s one thing I gotta give MAJOR props too is how this man can do such amazing foreshadowing! Which is definitely not easy!
