Nel was being serious, Remember she’s still a hollow so she can’t express her feelings completely in a human fashion …… so she cared for noitora but it showed up as pitty… and that’s what noitora couldn’t stand ….. yet as he was dying he finally understood her true sentiments,, and realized she truly wanted to protect him from the fate of dying like a beast. Noitora never knew a KENPACHI WAS out there somewhere….. so his defeat was what he didn’t know he always wanted from someone TRULY STRONG and monsterous …..

5eps?! I'm here for it all! This was a small part, but when Starkk appears out of nowhere just to snatch up Orihime was one of my favorite moments in this arc. Dude was saucy with it, and the ost playing in the BG, just made that moment so cold to me like damn, we just got her back too lol.

Starrk is my favorite Espada, he too saucy. I would suggest to watch this next little mini arc in 1 sitting, 206-212, its one the best arcs in the entire anime so much dope shit happens

That's Turn back the pendulum isn't it? If so, it's one of my favorite arcs as well, even though it was short.
