May-June 2016 Update! (Patreon)

I want to take a moment to thank you all for supporting me. It’s all thanks to you that last month I was able to learn ToonBoom and improve my animation abilities; as well as get tons of color practice. I’ve made so much progress, and it means the world to me that you enjoy my artwork enough to support me in creating it.

I’ve also been hard at work on my comic. It’s a slow process since I’m working by chapter rather than page by page, as I know many comic artists do. I also have decided to attempt to do it in color (another foolishly ambitious decision.) But I really want to make something I’m proud of that, hopefully, everyone will enjoy reading. I’m really looking forward to having the first chapter done! (I'm going to estimate it will take a couple months at least, with drawing roughs, lineart, and full color for a full chapter.)

Things that got pushed to the backburner were full animations, such as the Markiplier animation, as well as a short Game Grumps animation. If anyone is really dying for me to do those, please let me know and I can try and switch gears again. You guys are the ones I want to listen to above everyone else.

(I also really started wanting to animate original short, so if anyone is interested in me doing that instead, let me know that it's something you'd like to see!)

I’m also thinking of doing Patron-only commissions to test the waters; just so I don’t fling myself to the public and burn myself out. I’ll discuss this in a future post if anyone is interested.
