Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well.

I want to apologize for my lack of activity this month. I had been doing some contract work, and then I had the unfortunate displeasure of coming down with what I think was the flu. I believe it's first fever I've had in years. Luckily, I think I'm finally starting to get better. It's been too long.

I also want everyone to know I've been looking into comic creation. Basic things like format and fonts and such. I've even started planning out some pages, so that's something to look forward to maybe.

A friend told me something along the lines of "if you have a story to tell, you should tell it" which greatly inspired me. It reminded me why I wanted to write a comic to begin with, and it needs to not be a deterrent for me that I'm not a professional comic artist or writer. I just want to share a story that I created with great care.

Other than that I'll probably continue working on the Game Grumps collab as scheduled.

Take care!

The amount of personality you portray in your characters not only with their expressions but their clothing and physiques will likely do wonders for comic creation, especially since stuff like that is often something comic artists pick up after they've been drawing comics for a long time! Did you have something in mind for the genre of the comic? Such as romance, drama or comedy (or even horror?!)? I have a million questions but this was the most important.

I'm not 100% sure, but I can do my best to categorize it genre-wise. What I can tell you is it'll be cute and silly, so maybe a little on the Comedy side. The plot has serious moments as well, so it's a little dramatic, but I'm hesitant to label it as a Drama outright. A Dramedy, perhaps? Definitely NOT Romance. The story revolves more heavily around the "power of friendship" trope. As for Horror, there might be some minor hints of dark psychological themes sometimes, but it's definitely not the overlying tone. To be honest, I don't know what it is or what it's trying to be. It'll probably just be "cute" in the end.

I come here for the quality, of which there is always an abundance. Quantity is not a concern, if you weren't feeling well, then I'm just glad you took time to feel better. I cannot wait to take a look at a comic by you! I can only imagine great things, given your art style, and apt for visual storytelling. I mean, look at the just the Game Grumps videos you've done already; you did more with the frames you made than I've seen many an artist do with twice the frame count. I mean that genuinely, I'm not exaggerating.
