Seriously, why are websites like Kemono doing this shit? Can't you wait 2 weeks or less to have our content for free? Isn't that already generous enough as early access?

We work so hard to keep providing good content, even our ports are not "just ports" with the work we have, the Inazuma Ganyu for example took at least 1 day to improve the textures + paint shadows because the ER textures are so bad, and without mimo4e doing the weights, the sleeves physics wouldn't have turned out like this due to the limitations of modding genshin and Ganyu not having long sleeves originally.

Don't you see that if you keep pirating our stuff, you will just make us give up? Do you want to have less people making mods, is that it? Because that's what you will achieve at this rate. You would gain more for waiting for 2 weeks goddamn it, it's not so hard.

To not mention the many people that just redistribute our mods in Korean and Chinese platforms without credits. Really, you don't even have the basic respect of saying our names?

It's Anilyan writing here, and I care a ton about leaving a legacy, even more than I care about money, despite being POOR AF and even rejecting commissions in order to make skins that everyone will be able to enjoy for free.

I also see my stuff uncredited every single day. I create for the community, but if the community won't bother remembering my name, I might very well leave.

Sincerely, fuck you, I hope you regret driving the people that create content for you away and I hope that everyone stops creating stuff for idiots so that you end without anything.

PS: This post is obviously directed only to people who do these things, and me and mimo4e are supper thankful of both supporters and creators that feature our stuff with proper credits <3

You do great work, I hope people don't deter you from creating.

Your work is incredible guys, please don't let people bring that down :)

I really love your skins, hope they stop doing that, good luck

I agree. I really enjoy your work. Please don't stop doing it.

I think the only feasible solution is to charge more for a subscription and/or no longer make your work free. Otherwise, it’ll continually be shared in the public space. The internet is scummy and the AGM community is not big enough to deter this type of behavior.

The mode quality you worked on is more than €3!!❤️ But please don't raise the price 🙏😖

I think a way to prevent people from stealing your work is to connect your patreon to another site, and requiring an active patreon subscription in order to access it on that other site. That way sites like Kemono that scrape info from the surface of patreon pages can't access them.

it's one of the rules in the AGMG discord server that any mod should be public within a month so most other modders who run patreons have their early access for a month. Anilyan also does this kind of work for the community so making the mods pay locked would go against their morals in a sense. I am not sure if charging more for a subscription would prevent our mods being pirated but i can talk about it with Anilyan and see their point of view

Yeah I’m unfamiliar with Kemono, but EnthralledThrall might be onto something since the files are able to be scraped on patreon sites. It’s just really scummy that they can have a subscribed account that would still continuously scrape the information regardless though. There needs to be more privacy and exclusivity though. If raising prices loses out on a lot of members, then perhaps it’s not the best idea. But there has to be something possible out there...

I'm not sure of how that works but I will look into it, thank you for your suggestion

Maybe you could change the early access to exclusive voting power? I know it would maybe make you lose some subscribers but I think without having to safe guard early access, you might feel less burnt out as creators incase you do run into more piraters. For myself, I subscribed to support you two as content creators and I don't feel particular about getting the content earlier or later. I'm just genuinely appreciative of you two's work. You could just do a general release, with tiers centered more around bts wip processes/voting on limited alternate toggles/variations. I'm not sure what is the way to completely avoid piracy bc certainly people who pirate don't care that they are driving away content creators. Their thought is that they want it now despite it harming the community.

I started subscribing the other day after noticing my mods list consisted of 50%+ your guys' mods. Subscribing to you guys was the best decision I've made since I've started Genshin, and I've been here since day 1. I hope you don't let these people ruin your drive and passion y'all clearly have for this game. The people that will care about your legacy will spread it from here to beyond. Those that don't, don't matter. Every notification I get from you guys makes my day, so this made me sad to say the least.

I really had to reply to this one (Anilyan here). Thank you for your super sweet comment, that means a lot, still would even if you weren't subscribed but I definitely agree. I can say I will always keep creating in one way or another - last year I made 2d skins in my page ari.genshin_skins, this year was 3D, and in the future i will likely just keep taking on more ambitious projects for the community ^~^
