So while poking around the DC wiki, I saw that there was another wonder woman pilot episode that got made before the Lynda Carter series and after finishing the whole show, I was curious about the other version and why they ended up making something else with all new actors -- all of which is to say, my mom, my aunt and I watched the 1974 Wonder Woman tv movie.

It is not a faithful adaptation, and it was really cheesy and silly, and kinda bad, which as we all well know can make for a good time if that's a thing you enjoy c:
and like I was having fun watching it fine on it's own, but it was also very fun to watch my and mom and my aunt getting more annoyed with every weird thing that happened lol
It's a movie I don't know that I would actually recommend, but if you do ever get curious, get some snacks, and if you have some people to watch with that always makes things better c:

a quick note -- I have a zine piece coming up that i'm finishing up over the next week, so I'm going to push folders going out on the 20th, just wanted to give myself a little breathing room, and it lets it go a bit more into pride month too so I figured that'd be nice too c:

Hope everyone has a nice weekend c:

I never knew this even existed, and in hindsight it seems like an odd idea to get the rights for a character to just use the name and some details but I guess some exec in the 70s though it was worth a try... and now we have a strange what if. Have a good Sunday!

yeah! some interesting choices and so later in the lynda carter show she does become a spy like in the movie, so I guess they were able to work in their ideas later but with a bit more faithfulness to the character c: it was, thank you! c:
