Last Minute Change to Meredith's Content (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

Want to share a quick post before the update drops.

Beta 0.4 is nearing completion and I'm just wrapping up a lot of the small details now.

However, I think I'm going to make a slight change to what was planned with Meredith's story/new content

== Pacing ==

Meredith's new story content is something I'm pleasantly surprised with.  I was able to flesh out my original plans a bit more and I think it helps add to the special bond that the MC & Meredith share.

But now I've run into a pacing issue.  The main scene that I teased a little while back now feels crammed if it's included where I originally intended on adding it.  Instead, there are 3 pieces of CG (one is animated) that I think properly reflect the MC & Meredith's relationship at this point in time and adding this 4th piece of content starts to throw off that balance by quite a bit.

For the new scene, I think it's much more appropriate to wait until a new midgame district is available and begin a new quest there to better represent the midgame point to her side quest line. 

== Teaser? ==

I was thinking about including the scene like the recent Stacy scene as a teaser but some on Discord have suggested I wait so it feels more rewarding in it's proper time.  Please let me know your thoughts.  I'm cool with adding a filler NPC and still adding the animation if it's highly desired.

I wanted to get this message out asap so people are aware that scene will not make it into this update especially if that's why they wanted to pledge $5+!  

I feel there's plenty of new content to still go around in Beta 0.4 but I know some people may find this news to be pretty unfortunate and to those, sorry about that.  I think this decision will be worth it in the end!
