I'm always looking for feedback on what I can do to improve my page here, but this week more than ever I really want to know what you guys think. I'll never blame anyone for leaving; it's your choice and I thank you for the support you've given, but I'm always curious as to what's the final straw for people. Is it my art, is it what I'm currently working on, or is it just a tight month budget-wise? If you're ever not happy with what I'm doing here, whether you're staying or not, please let me know! Write a comment, pm me a message, leave a message in your exit survey! If I don't know what you're unhappy about I won't be able to improve myself, so please, be vocal, let me know!

To those of you leaving this month, thank you for your help! Again, it's your choice, no worries there, but if you would consider sending me a message or an exit survey as to what caused you to leave I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you everyone!

For me it was budget-wise. Was a patreon before and had to leave due to financial difficulties. Once I got a better job, I was able to jump back in.

Wattem

I'm happy with what you offer, I think your tier rates are good. One thing I would say is that now you run a poll at the start of the month for suggestions of girls to draw, rather than weekly, it means people have to wait for a month before they can suggest a character again. I'm fine with that (especially since I picked Amy Rose this month!) but I wonder if it might affect others?

TheOtherHalf

I knew the changes would discourage some people. I was at the point where doing the weekly pics was giving me hardcore burnout and I could see it in the quality of my pics. By changing it to how it is now I wanted to put my focus on making a couple higher quality pieces rather than multiple flat colored ones, but I also wanted to make sure I didn't completely take away people giving suggestions and voting. I understand if some people are disappointed in the decision.

There is nothing wrong with your work! Your art is stylish, your comic is impressive, and your polls are straightforward! I know you are planning to do multi-shot animation and add voice work as well, but I know that takes time. But I have been your patron for a long time and you always deliver! I can wait and enjoy what I am given!

Well, I haven't left nor do I intend to anytime soon, but here are my thoughts: This is one of the better run Patreon pages I currently subscribe to. You have a consistent stream of high quality art plus regular engagement with patrons with the suggestions/polls. Not to mention, as far as art work/art style, you're easily one of my personal favorites out there! Long story short, I think you're doing absolutely fantastic!

I’m satisfied with your patreon too!!!! Your prices are good and the contents great. Only thing I could think that I’d like to see maybe is more with your characters. Scrawled is awesome and I’d love to get to see more of their interactions outside of the main story. I’d love that but I’m happy with what your doing and don’t want you to overwork yourself I’ll support regardless 😃😃😃

TheOtherHalf

Thank you! I do have a bunch of mini stories for most of the characters already, I'm just thinking of how I can tell them.

Erotica Fox

I like your art work. It's very high quality and I'll continue to support as long as I'm working :)

Well, I meaning to do this, I did say that I was going to give feedback on your comic after you posted five pages of it. But after believing that I didn’t get enough information from the pages of your webcomic, the story, characters etc, I decided to be patient and wait a bit longer until more pages were posted. To be honest I’m glad you’re asking for feedback right now because I’m pretty certain I was going to keep putting this off until I just forget it. That being said, let’s talk about your comic first, shall we? You’ve seemed to have created characters have their own personality and are relatable in some way to the viewer and I like that. Nera is a relatable character that I can go behind all the way as the main character and One of the reasons I was happy to see you make and post your webcomic was that you have said that Nera was a bit of a shy person when it came to anything involving sex, but I see pictures of her doing things that she should be shy about (IE: https://rule34.xxx/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=3357437 https://rule34.xxx/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=2960297). Granted, these are non-canon pictures, but whenever I see them, a part of me thinks that is not the case. I really did like looking at pages 10-15 because we all see Nera is acting human in front of our eyes on something that we can relate to Sex. She clearly nervous and uncomfortable about what she is doing, and most people would be in real life too. The other characters are alright in my books. Atti may seem one-dimensional so far from what I’ve seen but that’s not a bad thing. I’m sure you give her character development in due time along with the other characters in due time. I like Beth's design as the eyes color on her goes well with what she is wearing and the same for Audrey too. The concept of having these characters work at a place like a sex shop is a good idea and I don’t need to say much about the art since it’s great as always. See the problem I have with your comic now can be traced to two words: world-building. You talked about the world that Nera and co inhabited but I don’t see happen as I read your comic. I have no problems with how you’ve created your characters but I feel like you had focused the first pages of the comic on the world itself, how society works, how the society affects the people, how the people interact with each other because of the society therein…etc, you, in my opinion, would had had a more impactful start and would make us interested in the characters more. Details man, look at some of the other webcomics like Lackadaisy that start off giving information on the world in it or the backgrounds that are affecting the present(https://www.lackadaisycats.com/comic.php?comicid=1), or the worlds that Fluff Kevlar or other artists has sketched (https://www.furaffinity.net/user/fluff-kevlar/)( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/16658396/). Now I understand that you’ve already made sketches of the webcomic. But let me ask you a question for a second: did you ever thought about putting in background characters like demons or other creatures that are based in this world or such on pages 3 and 4? Thinking about it now, I felt like that was a wasted opportunity there. Now I don’t know what going through your head and what your planning on doing with your webcomic. For all we know, you already have that plan out and if that the case good. I just felt that what I said above needed to be said as I needed to get this off my chest. Other things: I'm glad that you’ve made some changes to your account here tier wise and weekly pics wise. However, I see a problem with the new weekly pics step up. I had previously said that you should have to use the Instant-runoff voting or the alternative vote when making decisions on what picture to do. One of the reasons I said this is because most of the choices that your supporters have including me will not feel like their vote or choices in what you should draw next will be pointless. When I saw the last polls on your new picture format, a part of me felt like people had no choice but to go with Amy out of all the choices they had since it was clear that she was going to win in the end and that they were going to get the person they wanted. Granted you don’t have to do the alternative vote but you could at least made it so the poll's results won’t be revealed. That way, it would make the outcome less predictable. As for the ten-dollar tier, I really do like the idea of sending in a character to you and seeing it in the comic, but to be honest with you, no disrespect to you or the hard work you do, I’m not really interested in the other things your offering that are for the ten dollars supporters. Just not really my things. If I were to suggest something here, why don’t you do “Ask Me” pictures. Where people, say in the ten-dollar tier could ask questions to your characters. This is a good idea for several reasons, it’s allow you to think about the world and characters your making, you can post them publicly for free so that people who aren’t supporting you can look at them with the possibly of becoming interested in them and supporting you, and it gives your current supports in the lower tiers such as myself extra motivation and reason to go to the ten tier. I’m sure there are more reasons, but I think you get the point here. All in all, you can do whatever you want, I’m just giving some of the feedback and options of what you’re doing here. Just remember that as long as you plan out what to do next, look at all the possible outcomes to your plan and keep doing what you're doing, then you will okay.

You are a great inspiration for me. Seeing the efficiency of your animations and the unique style of your comic pages motivates me to go outside of the conventional and to express myself apologetically. I don't feel like I have enough experience to critique your Patreon setup. I will say that the most valuable assets for me that I've received from you are the butt tutorial pack and the animation lessons gifs. I have no issues with your art style or art format other than that I'd never draw in the same style, but that's simply because our drawing styles are each unique. I know this isn't a criticism, but I feel like it'll be a good mental utility; we each have lovely hills and dreadful dips that we travel through as we learn and grow. Every dip however, preludes a higher hill :)

Still a fan of your content. I guess one change for me is that when I started pledging, the main thing I supported was the weekly pics and the comic you were working on was a nice bonus, but with Scrawled I honestly feel like that's the main thing on your Patreon that makes me continue pledging and the pics have become the nice bonus. Probably why I don't mind the weekly pics changing into the new setup

Thank you for the in-depth review! In the case of Nera's character, I originally made her with the idea of just being a poster girl, a character to draw in sexy scenarios for the fun of it. As I started thinking of actually making a comic out of her, I needed to give her an actual personality. So yes, you could say her earlier pics are non-canon. For world-building, I do agree, I could've put in more differing characters in the background in a few spots, but to be honest, I wasn't too focused on the world just yet. The more I thought about it, the more I'm considering this beginning like a prelude chapter/chapter zero. I wanted to establish the characters, set up one important location, get one big sex scene and one big story moment in to kick things off. Once that's done I do know how I want to continue into the next chapter, which will be a proper chapter 1 getting into the world and more characters. I'm sure I could've done things better to kick things off, it's all a learning experience and I'll be able to better myself for writing future chapters. As for the voting, I see what you mean, but unfortunately Patreon doesn't really have a way to setup voting like that or to hide vote results. For the $10 tier, I know it's not something everyone will be interested in, and that's ok, I've always seen the $5 to be my target tier with the $10 being something a little extra for those interested. I may do something like the "ask me" pics in the future, I am looking for ways I can expand the universe and characters a bit, so that's certainly a possibility. I appreciate the honesty and ideas, thank you very much!

I'm glad has been able to help you! And yes, hopefully I can come up stronger than before, thank you!
