Greetings adventurers:

Another phased battle map with increasing degrees of fire spread! I love a good phased map.

In other exciting news.. My birthday is this week and I'm turning 30, ya!

Turning a new decade has me reminiscing on where I've come from and the person I am today. This project, Canvas Quest maps, brings me immense fulfillment and helps me believe I'm seizing life. Soo, a big thank you to everyone here and anybody reading this.

I hope me being some random person trying to do something can inspire another random person to try that project they are dreaming of. Just start it, you will be better for the failure than the dream in your head.

This project will continue onward and hopefully I'll still be doing this on my 40th birthday.

Cheers to you Adventurers!

Scene Flavor:

A sudden, brilliant blast of fire from the southern section of Brindol erupts as the red dragon, Abithriax, blasts one of the buildings there with his breath weapon. Almost at once, the PCs receive a panicked telepathic message from Lord Jarmaath, who confirms what the PCs might have already guessed—the red dragon has joined the battle. At the same time, the horde is pushing into the breach in the west wall. Lord Jarmaath orders the PCs to slay the dragon while his soldiers meet the bulk of the horde army at the breach in the walls to the west.

Tiers:
(

Up next:

Streets of Blood: Fighting has moved into the city streets, and the defenders are trying to slow the horde’s advance into Brindol. Lord Jarmaath wants the PCs to support a group of soldiers stationed on the Dawn Way just west of the marketplace. These soldiers are preparing to battle waves of invaders moving down the road, and without the PCs’ aid it looks like they will soon be overwhelmed.

Happy Adventuring!

I know this was designed with VTT in mind, but I want to print out the map for my game. Is there a recommended print size to get the right dimensions? Is 17x24 a good size?

Canvas Quest

The grid size is typically best used at 1” for standard play. With this map being 35x35 I’d recommend splitting the map into Quarters with one on each page. This is a great question and I’ll make a post/link on how to best print these maps or adjust their size for vtt
