Saturday Update! (Patreon)

Hello again folks!

I finished the Dakis on Monday and then took the rest of the week off! But I still have a lot to talk about today :D

First up: My continued vacation! I'll be taking the next week off as well so I can really rest up and have time to do some IRL annoying chores like making a dentist appt.

But on the 19th, it's back to business. I'll be starting a new small project! It's going to be a Renpy game, but much smaller than TPOF. Think about the length of a BTD run- one of the ones where you get right to the end- but no branching story. There will be a lot of choices and ways to fail partway through, but the plot won't branch off like my previous work.

This project is more like a nice little indulgent thing I wanted to write :) And I'm planning to release it for free [ or as close to free as I can manage while still gatekeeping minors ].

However, there's something we need to discuss! 

I want to keep this project as quiet as possible, because I enjoy working with no hype. If it were up to me alone, I wouldn't tell anyone what I was doing until I was done. But I'm not working alone- I care about your input very much! 

So I'll be asking you guys via a poll [ it'll be posted right after this update ] if you would prefer me to work in total secrecy [ I will still do saturday updates, but I'll be very vague about my work and talk in terms of progress without giving any examples or art previews ] OR if you want me to keep you guys in the loop and show you what I'm doing [ I will put the secret in your hands and hope that the project doesn't get leaked too badly ]

Whatever the poll decides is what I'll do :)

Next up on the agenda: Merch updates! 

Unfortunately I have no good updates about the major restock. Vograce gave me a shipping number over a week ago, but it hasn't been updated at all. I think they purchased a shipping label to get me to stop complaining, but they haven't actually finished my order or shipped it 😩

But there's more- I now have a second order underway. I made the order for the test examples of the rest of my new products- the dakimakuras, the light up LED silhouette keychains, and the gore whore shaker. I received and approved a proof for those this morning, so they SHOULD enter production ASAP. Keep in mind this isn't the actual stock order- this is just a tiny order with minimum quantities so I can check how these items come out. I need to see the colors on the complete dakis to make sure they're ready to print for real- and I also need to see how big they are folded up to make sure I have the correct shipping materials to send them to people :D

Last item! High Rez art was requested, so here's the high rez versions of all the daki art! <3
