Saturday Update! (Patreon)

Hello again! It's time for y'all's update!

Last week was kind of a whirlwind of 'Business Stuff'. ^^;

MILD TPOF SPOILERS BELOW FOR 'BLOOD' ACHIEVEMENT

I spent Monday taking more product shots and editing them all, then creating the listings for the new BTD/TPOF merch. I Finally made the listings live in the afternoon, and unfortunately they all sold out that evening or the next morning. [ I guess 'fortunately' from a profit standpoint but unfortunately for every other reason LMAO ]

On Tuesday I spent the ENTIRE day packing packages. About 10 hours of pure office labour, a total of around 170 shipping labels purchased and packages packed. I also panicked because I didn't expect them to go nearly that fast and I ran out of bubble mailers. I went to the post office and horrified the ladies working there by dumping 170 packages on them, and bought some shitty envelopes to try and tide me over.

On Wednesday, I still had largish orders of my old products so I had to get real bubble mailers from Staples. I ordered 500 more bubble mailers online but I won't be expecting them till this monday. I squeaked in a little bit of work on my last LED keychain but I spent most of the day updating social media on the stock situation and looking into restock options.

Thursday, I decided to buy a VIP membership from Vograce so that I can have a year long discount on my future orders. I should have done this for the previous order honestly. [ it costs $60 and gives 8% off ] I'm still waiting for them to accept my payment and make me a VIP! I also spent a portion of the day redesigning my business card, which I realized is quite out of date- it was missing my steam and itchio info, and it should have a QR code in this day and age.

Here's the new design digital mockup! I'm hoping to get these by the end of the month.

I also spent the rest of the day prepping my files for the next restock order- I needed to add some notes to 3D blood splatter keychains and also set up the files for the Jack, Machete, Komodo, and Dragon keychains!

Oh! Right! On that note, I actually got word back from Vograce about the 3D blood splatter keychains! I emailled them with concerns about them [ the printing showed one design through the other very slightly in some light ] and they got back to me, testing the printing process with more white layer in between. I was very happy with the results so I'll be ordering them that way from now on- and I'm also going to pay for more protective layers [ acrylic and epoxy ] over top. So those portrait keychains will be a bit different next time.

on FRIDAY I obsessively checked to see if my VIP status was granted yet so I could make the restock order [ it was not :( ] and I FINALLY finished the design for the last LED keychain!

so I'm FINALLY done all the keychain designs! I'm not gonna order these LED ones with the restock though, I'm going to wait to order them with the dakimakura body pillows [ I still need to do the art for those, that's next on the agenda! ]

I just don't want to make my order any larger honestly ^^; The order that I bought the first time was 50 of each keychain and it didn't even last one day, so I'm buying 250 of each keychain now [ and 500 of derek ]. Which is great except it's gonna be a terrifyingly expensive order [ like, around $7000CAD I think ] and I will be honest with you, that makes my hands sweaty and freaks me out LMAO but I REALLY need to restock and REALLY need a lot more than last time. So I have to put on my big girl panties and do it.

Anyway, I think that's about it for last week!

Next week I plan to MAKE THAT RESTOCK ORDER and also get started on drawing the dakimakuras!
