Saturday Update! (Patreon)

CG Completion: 128/181 - we are officially at 69% completed CGs B)

Hello again friends! Before I get started with the usual update, I must apologize in advance for only being able to show you one CG again this week- and for not being around to make an update next week, Sorry!

Last week was... I'm not gonna sugar-coat it. It was BAD. My mental health and productivity were really low in the tank. I'm anxious about my vacation next week, and I'm approaching burnout too. I didn't really get to rest last weekend unfortunately :( I had so many house chores, obligations, and Etsy store work that I was left with only a few hours of free time. I tried to use that free time to sneak in some Dead By Daylight gaming, and that was an actual catastrophe [ I tried to update the game but I ran out of disc space on my windows partition, it uninstalled the game and corrupted my partition so I ended up deleting my windows install entirely and un-partitioning my hard drive. That took all my time and was a very miserable experience. I also can't play DBD until I make a new partition but it's too risky with all my work on this computer. I really will just have to give up and not play until I finish making TPOF :< ]

I struggled a lot to stay on top of my work last week too. I managed to get a short animated CG completed [ nothing too fancy, it's only 7 frames ] and another regular CG completed, but I essentially still lost a day worth of work. I spent a lot of time anxiously staring and crying instead ¬_¬;;; [ I get really freaked out before vacations. I just get so irrationally scared that I'll do something wrong or forget something. It sucks ass. But! I know it will go away as soon as I actually leave for it ].

The animated CG came out REALLY COOL but unfortunately it's deeply spoilery so I can't show you guys- I'm sorry! ^^; I swear I'm not making it up though! I really did do the work, I swear on my memory of Aeris. Usually I can crop things or splatter them with the ol' black goo but the  entire thing is a spoiler honestly.

I can however show you the normal CG though! It's been a while since I've done one with Jack [ or Jaqueline! ]

I'm happy with the result but the composition gave me some trouble x'D I ended up having to adjust my original sketch a little because it looked stiff before.

But I digress!

My vacation thing will take up most of next week, but I might be able to squeeze some work in before I go. I have two work days technically open before it but I also gotta make sure I'm packed and laundry's done and supplies are bought and the apartment's clean.... etc etc. Still, I will try my best.

I apologize again for the lack of productivity! It kills me inside >_< But I can at least say I'm very confident I'll be feeling much better after my vacation. I always do!

And of course, thank you guys so so much for supporting me and allowing me to have this time off to recuperate! It means the absolute world to me! I know I'm stumbling a little right now, but I am as dedicated to this work as ever and I'm very eager to tackle the remaining 53 CGs!
