Saturday Update! (Patreon)

Okay I'm gonna say right out the gate that this week's update is kind of a shitshow 😂 I apologize for the small amount of work I got done, it turned out to be the most brain grindingly busy week of my life. I had so much other stuff going on that it felt like oily juggling.

I drew up 3 small sets of sprites which only had a few variants each, so only 12 got done 😩

I also can't even show you most of them because they're too spoilery. I'm really sorry!

On Monday I had a meeting with the representative of the construction people I'm hiring to fix up the foreclosure apartment I bought. That took a lot out of me because it was rapidfire decision making while masking my social anxiety for a few hours. I had to lay down in the shower for a while to be able to send an email after LMAO

They said they would send me a quote in a week but they sent it in 2 days so shit just kept rolling. I had to make changes, send it back, approve it, pay deposit, blah blah.

Then I had to find a cleaning company to wash the walls because apparently they are too filthy to paint LMAO so that was more time to research companies, contact, get a quote, approve, pay deposit...

I also got in contact with the condo board and requested some keys I never got and they told me 'too bad bitch' so I need to find a locksmith to drill the mailbox lock out, haven't done that yet, but I did manage to get them to sell me the other stuff I need.

aaaand I also needed to ask the construction company for all its license info so I could fill out a reno request form for the condo board... I got the info, just need to send the form this morning after I finish this

I also had 2 different doctor appointments because I managed to get picked off a waiting list to get a family doctor! [ the appointments were just basic checkup stuff that I havent been able to do in like 10 years. Pap test... yay. ] But I am very thrilled to have access to a doctor finally.

I had to redo some sprite work last week too because my brain is so fried I kept forgetting to duplicate layers before changing them and I lost stuff I needed

ANYWAY

I can show you a single screenshot- it's sort of like a scene from the original.

I do really enjoy this sprite though, so hopefully it scratches an itch!

I also apologize in advance because next week might be a little underwhelming too ^^; on Monday I need to meet the representative in the city to pick out materials [ flooring, bathroom stuff, etc ].

I promise I will keep trying my hardest and I swear this slow progress won't be forever! All this apartment stuff will be over eventually.
