Gunwild: That's lewd. This is a family comic!

Psu: Okay, can I say that this one's PROBABLY my fault? I think it came about ever since I did that sight gag in "Seat of Your Pants" where he blushes but it looks like a toaster heating up. Well...

Gunwild: I went along with it though because I like the idea of it singing his hat and that being a problem. Also the comic title. I will do stupid things to even indirectly earn a pun.

Psu: Well overall I really like the tone of this page. I think it's one of the times that it really feels like they're in a relationship. And there are kids in the back. I'm sure Cassiopeia isn't being judgmental, the way she says it. She's just warning him that he has to watch out for his hat!

Gunwild: Yah. Also you love "feeling snoozy in the back of a car that's driving at night" as an atmosphere in general, if I recall.

Psu: Who doesn't? Art side of things, this looks like it was a simple comic page to draw. And it was! I was needing a break to catch up on future pages and this was simpler to do. But weirdly enough, I'm just enough of a dork that I actually drew the bottom panels twice. That was an extremely inefficient use of time!

Gunwild: I always like catching that though when artists do it, it makes it feel more handcrafted...

Psu: Well... okay to be clear I only INKED and COLORED it twice. But I could've gotten away with it if I wanted to.

Gunwild: Yes, it's a good advantage of digital comicking.

Psu: Oh pff, I forgot Nizka fell asleep with a book on her face.

Gunwild: I read a lot as a kid, but I don't think I ever managed to do that. Definitely still fall asleep with books next to me on the bed... but I guess it would be rude to prop one up on Ashley's horn.

Psu: I've done it once with an iPad. I'm just happy my nose didn't hit send on some tweet or something. Not... propping it up on Ashley's horns. Falling asleep reading. That was clear right? You're the writer.

Gunwild: Yes. Anyway I wonder if when Zeke gives Nisa the hat it's still a little smoky... we'll discuss that next page though!
