Gunwild: And also, the alternate final panel:

Psu: I stand by the idea that it works just fine without the dialog. Plus it’s fun to do a page that doesn’t have any word balloons at all! ... whose idea were the stockings over the fireplace? That seems likely to damage them...

Gunwild: Luckily that worked because we came up with the subtitle thing. And I believe yours. Maybe they're made of heat-proof space-fibers?

Psu: It’s true, future fabrics don’t really have to behave by the same rules. Anyway... I know the elf was your idea.

Gunwild: Okay yes, I quite like this "elf" babe. The canon explanation for these unusually short folks with long ears is humans colonizing planets with higher gravity, where naturally they don't grow as tall! The not-so-canon explanation is that I liked the Artemis Fowl books and thought their sci-fi fairy folk seemed cool. I'm currently working my way through the archives, tagging the characters' names so you can click them and see every comic they appear in. What should we be calling this lady?

Psu: Uhhhh... well um. Something Christmassy right? Or is that just a stage name. She’s a professional really. I think though, for a real name I’m thinking, Claire.

Gunwild: Done and done. I wonder if she's also from Space Australia? We'll have to hope she appears again to find out! Uh, Psu, can we bring her back as a Christmas gift to me?

Psu: I make no promises with gifts. Anyway before we go, I’ll just go pointing at other favorite details. Zeke using the Zero G to setup the Christmas tree might not work since decor relies on gravity. I need to find all these fonts again, cause the text work on this page is pretty much on point. And I think, this is the ONLY time we ever directly NAME Star Wars in the entire comic.

Gunwild: Well it's a documentary, in this world... also, I would also settle for a gift of those hyper-pink slippers.

Psu: I feel bad about covering them up but it was either covering them up or the elf.

Gunwild: Welp, nobody complained!
