Gunwild: This was originally just one of our habitual four-panel things, but Psu talked me into extending the last panel into three to give more real estate and time to the quiet, nice bit.

Psu: Yeah I remember those discussions quite a lot! I can't really recall what the discussions were about but I enjoyed thinking about how I'd have to pull all nighters in the past, and being up when people were getting ready with breakfast. This really nicely ties a lot of our past strips together, while also sneakily setting us up for some space orphans. That changes the comic a LOT when they get introduced.

Gunwild: Hopefully people remembered. Oh well, at least it reads nicely in the archive! So, what about Zeke's future-kitchen do you want?

Psu: Heh, yeah I did add my usual things I really like. I'm not quite sure what kind of heating element Zeke has. It actually makes me think of a wok burner but it seems to utilize energy. The stove hood looks heavy duty. But I think the thing I want most is the all around circular windows behind it. It's probably really hard to clean all that though...

Gunwild: Not with the technology of the space-future! Probably. I notice the hood looks pretty conventional.

Psu: Maybe I dunno... it has robot vacuum tendrils for sucking up specific parts of the kitchen.

Gunwild: Instead of episodes where the holodeck tries to kill everyone, we could do the same thing with the automated kitchen...

Is she wearing a “Hello, my name is PEIA” sticker, or is that part of her shirt? I like it in either case.

It's meant to be kind of a nametag like a mechanic would wear (she likes to dress up), although yeah the design makes it look more like one of those stickers. Oh well!
