Gunwild: I actually don't like that this uses the "talking to camera" conceit to just set up whatever the hell we want to do outside of a narrative context. I think that's overused. But I do like the actual strip.

Psu: This and the Burrito are a couple of the most iconic Cassiopeia Quinn strips. I think in that we don't use "talking to the camera" a lot, it works well here. And it's fair to say loads of people consume media where the host is presenting directly to the viewer. People are just more used to vloging now! Cassiopeia would totally have one.

Gunwild: Yes, she does like attention. And doodling! I like that panel 2's little cartoon she made implies that the consequence of falling over once due to pants-related lack of balance is just... instant death.

Psu: She's actually quite a good drawer too. I think it's fair to say at this point she's drawn her own chibis from the previous strip. It's more than just a little grafitti on the side of radiation scrubbers.

Gunwild: Although graffito-doodles of herself are her particular métier... probably because they're against the rules to make.

Psu: I don't know what métier means and I'm not totally sure I wanna. But I gotta say, special commendations to her dialog in panel 2. I can't say that in of itself is peak Cassiopeia, but it's good to show her wit for childish word games extends more than just some baby words.

Gunwild: I struggle to give individual characters speech patterns particular to them. But I think it's probably fair to say that panel is Cassiopeia using words in a way that nobody else in the comic is likely to do. So I'll call it a win.

Psu: It still feels like a Cassiopeia thing to say, which is great. By this point in the comic, these little side diversions were relatively rare outside of holidays. But I think it was around here we started feeling the uses for quick short stories. I'd say there's a lot of character building here, what with opening up on Cassiopeia's blogging and Zeke's reading. You've gotta wonder how many people actually watch Cassiopeia. How she keeps it secure. And how people actually send her messages.

Gunwild: Also what Zeke's abs of steel are made of. Just steel? A titanium alloy? Cobalt-chromium? Some future metal? Who knows...

It's kind of ironic that she complains about cramming her leg meat into something when she is wearing thigh high boots all the time.
