Psu: There has got to be a more comfortable way to fall out of a zoom tube...

Gunwild: I assume it was less comfy a landing than usual because they had to flush some people out midway through transit. Maybe that's what the purple sign thing on it means... or "Watch out for a purple Vanaa moving at dangerously high speeds."

Psu: Sorry to get side tracked, but back on the writing this was a surprisingly happy ending in spite of what happened. Like there's a positive outlook, even though something very important just went "missing." It's kinda like loosing in a sporting match but getting to like your new teammates.

Gunwild: Maybe 'cuz you played against them before. Also, this page is full of pairings people demand be canon, like Talps and Kettering, Cupcake and Farring, and Kag and his starch-sticks.

Psu: Moc and his... Moc. Moc is just Moc.

Gunwild: Maybe he's looking at Talps and Kettering and wondering how Talps and him swapping numbers will affect the ship's data cap! That's what we decided they were doing there, I'm pretty sure.

Psu: Man, even the planet is getting along in this page. It's a nice counterbalance to the internal worries that Ison has. It's the value of a good narrator. We don't use it much but putting the narration from her perspective really paid off across the whole story.

Gunwild: I think I mentioned when we were chatting earlier that I often struggle with myself over when to use caption narration, when to use spoken exposition, and when to leave things quiet. But this page worked out okay.

Psu: We really don't do it often but I remember early on we wanted to have the series swap perspectives from our two heroines. And having Ison getting to talk about her commander was a good choice for that perspective in this issue. She gets a bit left out in the next one though...

Gunwild: The life of an operations officer is tiring and unglamorous! The only reason Commander Data bore up so well is because he's an android.

Psu: And Ison has her hobbies.

Gunwild: Those shall be revealed... IN TIME!

Psu: seems good. I might just repeat thinbgs about colors but I think we covered things about the feel of the page while saying it's surpriing that even though they lost they "won" something else

Gunwild: Maybe the real experimental medical goo was the friends we made along the way.
