Hello patrons, and happy new year! This month marks the next release of Crossed Signals. When we last left things off, Jenny and Sam were unsure just how long their swap would be extended. Would it be another week, month, year? Forever?? Read on to find out!

Finished CG Sketches

In our initial update, there were a lot of sketched CGs. Like, a lot. This is the first update where we've begun paying down that debt, finishing Sam, Violet, and Jenny's intro CGs.

New CG

We've also added a new, completely finished CG to this new story update. I don't want to spoil the surprise, so you'll have to play to see it.

New Background: Sam's Dorm

Kim Rinzley has been working away at finished backgrounds, with the next one being Sam's dorm room! Look at these two with their cute bunk bed and little gaming nook! I wish I had a dorm like that...

Minor Sprite Improvements

There were a lot of small tweaks we made to the sprite work, as well. Since Sam is so much taller than all the female characters, we needed another eye position so he wouldn't just be staring above their heads.

We also noticed that Violet and Sam both have blue eyes... that won't do, how will you know who's who when they inevitably swapped and Sam has to pretend to be a bitchy cheerleader!

Jenny has also gotten some hair alts to match the text during bathroom scenes. Look at how cute her hair looks clipped up!
