TRANSCRIPT:

In the first panel, Margaret holds a cup of tea and says: "I watched The Lion King all the time as a kid. We had the white puffy case for the English VHS and then the hard, yellow case for the O Rei Leão VHS and I'd alternate between those two."

In a second panel, Sylvia wearing her robe, looks annoyed as she says "I know you probably think it's a Barbie movie or something, but it's not. It's Kung Fu Panda 2."

In a third panel, Sylvia looks sheepish and says "Even though Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper is really good..."

In the fourth panel, Gavin stands behind the counter at Tea Friends and says: "I'm a big fan of all the Ghibli movies, but my favorites are probably the more obscure ones. If I had to pick one, I'd probably say Porco Rosso." A text box next to him reads: "It's actually The Cat Returns, but he won't admit it."

In the fifth panel, Julie stands in an arcade. She fills a text bubble to overthrowing with text explaining: "Okay, so there's this movie called The Thief and the Cobbler, okay? It was made entirely by this one animator, Richard Williams, who was the guy who did Roger Rabbit, which is a way more impressive credit once you realized he had to animate on the ones for an entire movie. Anyway, for twenty-nine years he works on his magnum opus, which is this really lushly animated Arabian Nights pastiche with a silent protagonist. And it's this lushly-animated epic with this these really striking flat compositions based on Persian negar gari prints. But after decades of work, the studios basically stole his work and released it two different times with different casts, even thought Tack was supposed to be silent! They added a bunch of shitty musical numbers and pop-culture refences and butchered the whole thing to hell, but if you search you can find The Recobbled Cut, which is a fan restoration of the original movie as best as they can compile it. I've actually got it burned to a disc, though you need to have a region-free DVD player to play it."

In the sixth panel, Felicia stands behind the counter of the tea shop Gavin was in. She says: "You know, I watched this movie one movie all the time as a kid, but I totally forget the title. It was this Japanese cartoon about this girl who travels to this cat kingdom and starts turning into a cat herself."

In the seventh panel, she says: "Which is kind of a weird coincidence now that I think about it..."

In the eighth Gavin appears and says: "It was called The Cat Returns" Felicia asks "Are you sure?"

In the ninth panel, the camera zooms close to Gavin's face who pauses and says "Very sure, yes."
