Weekly Anime Comics: Slayers - page 21 (Patreon)

Trying to render Crow's net/hair thing in a blocky, solid form just turned out looking like cat ears.  That, or a bear.

To be honest, I had a totally different comic idea based on my memories of the last time I watched Slayers, and got pretty deep into penciling that idea whole the episode was playing... until the episode suddenly ended and I realized the bit I was drawing a comic about doesn't actually happen until later.  So I had to go back and try to find some funny all over again, and that's when characters like Scribbles become important.
