Messing with the Queue (Patreon)

Okay, so I've FINALLY started posting ServantXService comics, and you might have noticed something a little different about the comics queue.  Anohana, which WAS at the very bottom of the list, is now right behind Osomatsu-san, and what's all this "Emergency Backup" nonsense?

Well, here's the deal: I made my own list of anime to watch back before the Patreon started, since obviously I needed to already be posting comics to get people interested.  The PLAN was to burn through all those shows first while a decent set of requests got built up, but I severely miscalculated how long it would take to work through your average anime.  I mean, how many months did JJBA take?  Anyway, it didn't feel right to charge people for the privilege of seeing their pick sitting on a list while I kept drawing comics about whatever the heck I wanted, but I also didn't like the thought of just dropping stuff from the list entirely.  You never know, maybe somebody just was really, REALLY looking forward to my epic Love Live parody?

I think I've found the way around this whole mess by setting the rest of my original pics as a Backup list.  If anyone adds any new requests to the queue, they'll be added right after Anohana.  But if... I dunno, half of ya'll get sucked into the Phantom Zone all of a sudden and I have to take your requests off the list, I still want to have SOMETHING waiting that isn't a last minute pick.

Hopefully, along with giving you longsuffering supporters your money's worth, this will make it easier to pick up a few new higher-level patrons.  It sounds like at least a few people would rather just not make requests at all than have to wait months and months to see anything come from it.  Well, now you only have to wait... LESS months!  ...yay?

And, of course, if any of you you there are still really, really hoping to read some Cute High Earth Defense Club or whatever, you can always start donating $5 a month and make THAT your request!  Bumping something off the Backup list to the Main one is totally allowed (I've got plenty of other shows I've been meaning to watch that I could add to the Backup)
