So, I used the same wig for the Dr. F costume a lot longer than I really should have, largely because it seems like they just don't make that particular wig anymore.  I finally gave in and tried to replace it for got around 2018, but each new wig I've picked up since has been worse than the last.  The one I tried to wear this weekend really was the bottom of the barrel, arguably worse than the one I physically couldn't wear 'cos it was made for a smaller head than my own.  At least that one WOULD have looked alright on somebody smaller, and at least that one didn't have the whole front half inexplicably fall over in front of my face.  I mean, come on spiky wig.  You literally had one job: point up.

And you know what the worse thing is?  I probably won't have the time or money to try and get a different wig before the next time I'm at a con.
