Conventional Wisdom: Animazement 2016 - Page 1 (Patreon)

FINALLY!  Here it is, folks, your extra dose of Animazement comics!

I'm sure I've mentioned this elsewhere (I bet you it's in the notes for the AWA comics, but I'm too lazy to check), but I actually really enjoy a nice long road trip.  Granted, there's a LOT of disclaimers to that statement, like if you have to leave stupidly early in the morning or have a deadline that you're scrambling to meet or if you get caught in traffic along the way.  However, if the travel spirits have been properly appeased and it turns out to be a nice, calm, uneventful drive, I absolutely love it.  You get to just sit there listening to music and blasting the A/C, there's a constant change of scenery, all of life's complications get reduced down to "drive straight and don't hit anything", and there's a socially acceptable reason to completely ignore other people's phone calls!  It's great!

...which is why I was legitimately weirded out by how short the jaunt to Animazement was.  You gotta understand, I live pretty dang close to Raleigh.  In fact, if it wasn't for the whole "needing to get back early enough to set up in Artist Alley" thing, I could have easily commuted back and forth from home.  Not even joking, I was genuinely disoriented to arrive at my destination without needing a single rest stop.  That NEVER HAPPENS.
