Weekly Anime Comics: Cardcaptor Sakura - page 21 (Patreon)

I mean, I guess I sort of get it.  The marathon sequence works better with music as the focus rather than dialog, and the fact that they run past familiar landmarks and characters does sort of "greatest hits" feel... but come on!  I'm just too conditioned by anime to assume that the presence of the theme song means something BIG!  It feels reeeaaally weird to hear it play in just a random episode with no real long-term significance.
