...and that's as close as we're gonna get to me actually giving someone the finger.

If you're not clear on what this is all about: Crunchyroll uses the broadcast versions of JJBA, which have a lot of the more objectionable content covered up with really obnoxious black shading.  Now, I understand why they'd need to obscure stuff before putting it out in a way where anybody could stumble onto it without warning (though smoking?  REALLY?).  I also understand why that version would be the only version available to use for a same-day sub release.  What I DON'T understand is why the TV version is STILL being used even after the uncensored bluray versions have been released.


...well, okay, I do sort of understand that too.  Licensing is a really stupid thing, and no doubt the deal CR worked out only covered the broadcast footage, not any subsequent versions.  And since anime company executives are even stupider things, I'm sure the streaming rights to the Bluray versions are insane to get a hold of.  It's just aggravating, ya know?
