Conventional Wisdom: AUSA 2015 - page 2 (Patreon)

On a rational level, I know perfectly well that the way a lobby looks at 9am is different from what it will look like by lunchtime.  But it's still really weird to head down to the underbelly of the hotel in the morning before anyone's around, then not come back up until the place is packed.

And it was PACKED.  The past couple of years, since AUSA moved into the new hotel, it's felt kinda... empty.  Which was the point, obviously.  You don't move into a new location if there's not room to grow.  And grow they did, this was the first AUSA where the con actually felt like it properly filled out the allotted space.

...but then, it's not like I really got a chance to go wander around very much, so my impressions might not be the most accurate.
