Conventional Wisdom: Ichibancon 2020 - page 1 (Patreon)

With hindsight, part of me wishes I HAD gone ahead and tried to make the show, just because I'm not sitting in a world where doing ANYTHING in front of a crowd might not be a thing again until next year.  But aside from the fact that I really DIDN'T need to be waiting until midnight to even start the drive home, there's also this little issue.  Every time I look at footage of a post-smartphone wrestling crowd and compare it to the sea of signs in any 90s-era crowd, I feel like something was been lost.  The odds are VERY good that I would have overcompensated.

...and that's an odd thing, seeing as how I first started going to conventions at a time when walking around carrying signs was the trendy thing and I HATED IT.  The was SOOOO annoying!  You'd think that would have soured me on the idea of signs forever, but apparently not!
