This week Alex shares the story of a big time live performance flub

and we look back at pop punk covers from our childhoods, including the “Punk goes Pop” and (worse) “Punk Goes Crunk” cover albums

before diving into an extremely popular modern pop punk(?) cover band with an album of Disney songs

From here we wind up at christian hardcore and reminisce about the early 00’s wave of christian metalcore

Music: New Found Glory - No Reason Why

I almost took this episode off a few times, but was dissuaded by Alex apologizing for it being the worst thing that MDC has ever done. Lol. The xtian metal really was good in comparison

Creations goes incredibly hard and that album is 10+ years old. sovereign strength is the most meat head of all the Christian bands tho. Absolutely nothing but ass beaters.
