Character Test Sketch: Side story (Patreon)

This year I really had a problem with art blocks and lack of creativity, guess you could say these are personal inflicted problems. But changing some tier rewards did helped spark some new ideas and practice some new stuff, I'm especially proud of the steady improvement on backgrounds and lighting.

So I guess this is separate from the weekly draws, /maybe it'll take the slot of the comic for now until I finish this. 

Like how the Weekly Draws are test and experiments, this one is no exception. This will be like a webtoon style so less usual comic with multiple panels to move a scene but rather individual images per scene and in between is a story so it'll be a picture novel of sort. I've set goals on these things too, so for this one the goals are:

-Learning to write better stories (also includes learning to write in the first place) and learn to express my art in writing.

-Adjusting Original Characters and Streamlining designs and personalities.

-More background work.

-Making use of more references (IRL stuff, locations and poses).

This will look like the September set with Rebecca, Freya and Anne. The comics always have multiple girls in it and I like to have just one on this (Freya) to better focus on her. I've noticed while looking back on the previous chapters that it tends to be a back and forth with each girl and it felt a bit messy, part of why I wanted to focus on two new ones on the fantasy comic. And I've tried writing a few times like the recent GID with Eric and I need practice on that so I will try to ask some writers out there, I have been more fond of reading bondage stories this year too. Finally Characters, most aren't that fleshed out tbh and I wanted to fix that first off the details on their appearances so this sketch features height. I imagined Freya as above average but it gotten to high cause I based it off my own so I lowered it down to around 5' 6" and Eric is the same so you could tell the rest.

So I will be apologizing for another break of the Fantasy comic and the rest of the month would be Sketches and details on this project. But still the Weekly Draws and Monthly poll is ongoing.

A bit of a long post today, it is an introduction to something new that would take a while so I hope you all could join me on this new project!
