Hello!

I know, it sounds like an obvious thing to say but, when I said "I want to make a short and simple storyboard for this animation" I was unaware of how many drawings that would take 😱

Just the first part had 58 drawings! which is way more than I am used to doing for a project. And this is a very simple storyboard. I can't imagine how long an average storyboard can be >.>

I also learned that storyboard are kinda like fast animation doodles you can use to time each shot. I know it sounds like I'm just ranting obviousness but I didn't really study animation so this is all brand new to me 🤣

Did I mention it's hard? Cuz it is! I know I am taking A LOT OF TIME with this and that I could be posting other stuff but, if I want to make this by Halloween (or whenever) I need to move it forward. I would like to post other things, yet I am only able to do so many sketches a day before my arm starts malfunctioning and burnout 😭

It's also very time consuming and energy draining!. Like I will drop dead by the end of each drawing sequence. And the time, well, been a few month's I've been doing this and it's still not done, and I don't even know if will happen! But I have set a few goals to help me organize and push it forward.

Wait, but why do you even need a storyboard? can't you just jump the good stuff and move on? YES! I have ask my self that very same thing a lot of times, but this is what it is. I can go there, but there is something about trying to tell a story with tickling that seems to resonate with me. Sure, I can go do short frame tickle loops instead and save my self a TON o WORK. But I like seeing my characters interact, react, and build momentum for the good part.

Or maybe I'm just nuts and like burning my self out doing this, who knows? 😝

If you made it this far, thank you for your time and your support! 💖
