Hi!

I wanted to share a short journal entry for you. Switching from a tickle artist to an indie game developer has been rough to say the least. I've left the comfort of my 2D word to the thorny and bumpy road to game development for this project and I've learned a WHOLE LOT from this.

One of the things I've learned is that it's never good to reinvent the wheel. Starting from scratch, not outsourcing or buying external assets. But then again, if an asset you bought is no longer supported, works or even available then you get a HARD STAB right in your game and your heart!

So you have to higher someone to fix it for you or replace completely, loosing time and money (And no, this project is supported enough to higher professionals so we have to do it ourselves).

I've come to realize that It's better to make everything your self so you know what's what. This is slower but the bright side is you won't get derailed from the project along the way.
