Art Journal #03 (Patreon)

So after much thought and planning I've finally gotten down to sketching the first page of M8bH #3. I've already wrote a small script about this issue and the main plot, so I can already start working on the art.

Even tho I have a digital display tablet which I got with the earnings from M8bH #1, thanks to the fans :3, I really like working on pencil and paper. I've tried doing it directly on the computer and it's awesome!, but, the old fashion way makes me feel like I got way more flexibility than on the computer. Since making a comic IS a complex work process as opposed to my usual single drawings. I need the speed and freedom the pencil and paper give me to muscle through the comic pages with speed. Sometimes I do 3 or 4 pages per day!.

I also like having my art laying around on the table where ever I work. It helps me motivate to keep working harder, plus it get kinda kinky X3. My life if very busy and if I intend to finish this comic for the next month or so I gotta be focused, so having the art laying around helps out.

As a final though, I always draw Kevin naked even if I later cover him up, it keeps things very interesting and makes me focus XD

Después de mucho pensamiento y planificación finalmente he llegado a esbozar la primera página de M8bH #3. Ya he escrito un pequeño guión sobre este capítulo y la trama principal, así que ya puedo empezar a trabajar en el arte.

Auqnue tengo una tableta de pantalla digital que conseguí con las ganancias de M8bH #1, gracias a los fans: 3, me gusta mucho trabajar en lápiz y papel. He intentado de hacerlo directamente en la computadora y es impresionante!, pero, la manera de la vieja me hace sentir que tengo más flexibilidad que en la computadora. Puesto que hacer un cómic es un proceso de trabajo complejo en comparación con mis dibujos simples habituales. Necesito la velocidad y la libertad que el lápiz y el papel me dan para avanzar a través de las páginas del comic con velocidad. ¡A veces hago 3 o 4 páginas por día!.

También me gusta tener mis dibujos expuestos en la mesa donde trabajo. Me motiva a seguir trabajando más, además de que me exita X3. Mi vida está muy ocupada y si tengo la intención de terminar este cómic para el próximo mes tengo que estar centrado, por lo que tener el arte por ahí alrededor me ayuda.

Por ultimo, siempre dibujo a Kevin desnudo incluso si más tarde lo cubro, mantiene las cosas muy interesantes y me enfoca XD
