I’m neck deep in editing the video about running a D&D game for my parents, but I thought I’d share the intro with y’all!

This is my first time shooting a video in this style and format, so it’s been a bit of an experiment editing it, but I’m really excited about how it’s shaping up. I’m aiming for this to come out next Wednesday!

I lost it at "sired a daughter". Now everyone in the grocery is staring at me. Thanks. (but seriously cannot wait for this video)

I can't wait for this video. I haven't been successful with my parents but I'm running a starter campaign with my in-laws so this one will be close to home :D

This is amazing! Where will be able to see it? Your Youtube or here only for your patrons? Thanks!

Lol, typical parents making seem like it's torture to play a game 🤣

They actually love games — but they’re not used to this TYPE of game. They’re big classic board game and card game people.

Board and card games are awesome (they’re gateway drugs to the hard stuff, role playing games, LARPing, I hear you can even go camping while LRPing, the truly hard stuff)

Your dad's beard is INCREDIBLE. This is going to be good on a few levels, not the least of which is that we'll get to see your Di-M'ing in full swing!

"I sired a daughter" is peak dad humor. Also if he's already using words like "sired" he's gonna be great at DND!

Four years ago at my dad's Celebration of Life, I told people how I ran my dad through a quick one-shot nearly 40 years ago now, after he asked me what the game was all about. Up until that point I had never told anyone that story, not even my gaming buddies. I can't wait to see this, I'm sure it's gonna be great.

So precious

Your parents are adorable! My dad didn't allow me to play D&D in the '80s because of the Satanic Panic. He's since played in my game and his grandson's games. He loves being an elf ranger.

I haven’t gotten to watch yet but you look so much like your mom in this thumbnail! I thought it was you in makeup!

They're adorable! Which, knowing Ginny, shouldn't be surprising, really.
