7:07 - caption here should be "if I had a dex score", right? I think we have similar dex scores. I broke my pinky toe navigating a perilous coffee table. I'm loving how good your "Ginny talks to camera" videos are. They've always had good content, delivery, editing, etc, but all the recent changes to your studio and format (new characters) add extra layers to them.

As a DM, I've found the "Are you ready to do that?" issue can really grind games to a halt. I have made the mistake of giving the players only 1 option to succeed and it's based on a die roll. And then they failed, so it was like "Well, um...roll again?" It's really not fun and breaks the immersion real fast.

It's such an easy mistake to make if you don't think about WHY you're calling for a roll first!! It's something I'm trying to be way more aware of.
