Dungeon before & after (Patreon)

I'm working on the edit for "He Sees Right Through Me," my new 50's-style D&D song (coming Wednesday!), and I thought I'd share this quick before-and-after of the set and the effects!

Just to be clear, the greenscreen isn't actually necessary for this shot — it's easy to replace anything that the performer (in this case, me) doesn't move in front of, regardless of what the extra space looks like. Plus, since I'm wearing all green, I would need a bluescreen in order to effectively composite around myself. In this instance, I was mostly just using it to block light from the windows and to give myself a clear visual reference for where the "hallway" would be. (It also created a really cool green reflection on the mic that suited the aesthetic of this scene really well!)

The hallway and cell bars are all adapted from a few different stock photos, combined in Photoshop, and then added into Premiere for the video. I have a few other scenes from slightly different angles that will need a similar treatment. Back to work!!
