Hey friends! In the November AM stream, I talked a little bit about sponsorships and the ins and outs of brand deals, and a few people expressed interest in a stream specifically about the business side of cosplay! So I'll be doing a stream specifically to chat with y'all about the business of cosplay this Wednesday at 3pm MT

I know weekday streams can be inaccessible for some people depending on your work schedule and your time zone, so I also wanted to allow folks to submit questions beforehand, so you can watch the stream back later if you like. So if you have any questions about the business of cosplay, feel free to put them into the comments here! Try not to worry about questions being too basic, or too silly, or too invasive — this isn't gonna be super formal! Just a chat.

I also have a video here that might answer some of your questions if you'd rather something a bit more organized and shorter form than a stream.

Hope to see you on Wednesday afternoon! I'll post the link here on Patreon about 15-20 minutes beforehand.

EDIT: I'M AN IDIOT!! I completely forgot Thursday is Thanksgiving!! I've changed it to Wednesday instead, sorry everybody!!

Oh goodie! That puts it at a reasonable 10pm Irish time! My question: how do you put a price on yourself? And how does that change, both, over time, and based on how excited you are to work with sponsorship?

When you accept a booking (Tasha being a good example), as part of the pricing for the booking, do you factor in the re-usability of the costume, and the potentially higher cost of obtaining more durable materials for a costume that has to survive multiple sessions?
