I'm making a gelatinous cube dress, it is... the most foolish possible thing I could be doing right now 😂😂 I have SO much on my plate... but this person on twitter has this running joke and I thought, haha, wouldn't it be hilarious if I actually did it... and then I started theorizing a little green vinyl party dress with bones and swords in the skirt and stuff, and next thing I knew I blacked out and ordered 3 yards of green vinyl and here we are.

SO YEAH that's... something.

the vinyl arrived coated in powder to keep it from sticking to itself, so that's the mottling you see on the skirt. I'll wipe it all off once I do the final seams, so it's nice and clear and shiny in the end. I patterned and whipped up a fitted muslin sheath dress last night as the base, since the vinyl is, obviously, completely transparent. I'm thinking I'll line the skirt with more vinyl so that the hem is a bit stiffer and the whole skirt stands out more. Bones and a little skeleton are in the mail! WHY AM I DOING THIS!
