Jester day was successful (and PACKED) (Patreon)

I spent all day yesterday doing Jester stuff, and it overall went really well! First I put together a set meant to be Jester's room at the Nestled Nook (the very first inn they stayed at, in episode one!)

I've been using partial greenscreen a lot lately to elevate my sets and bring some visual interest. Now that I know how, it's crazy easy to do! I'm working on a tutorial on how to do that.

Then I shot the first two episodes of Jester's Bad Advice! The only unfortunate thing about how that filming went is that I really wanted to do some "beat up" makeup on Jester for one part (because it's intended to be just post-combat) but I was too afraid to screw up my makeup when I still had so much to shoot and film that day, and was already running behind.

Then I knocked out a few little things I've been meaning to do — some funny short videos for Instagram, selfies, etc.

When Josh got home, we got started on the pin-ups! Not to brag, but... we're getting pretty dang good at these. Once we had the backdrop all set up and the props ready, we zoomed through these. Josh has an excellent eye for what about my pose needs to be adjusted to match the illustration.

I'm forcing myself to clean up the apartment (which I completely destroyed during filming yesterday... oops) before I start editing, but I am chomping at the bit to work on these!! 

Finally, I shot all the polaroid pre-orders — fifty five of them, holy shit?! It took me almost two hours, haha!

Now that I've cleared out a month and a half's backlog of Jester plans, I can get to work on other, non-CR stuff that I've been planning!! Meanwhile, keep an eye out for updates on all this Jester stuff as I work on it!
