Hello patrons and friends! I hope you had a wonderful week and weekend!

I had a loooong weekend so this update will be very quick, we’ll be back to longer updates next weekend!

This week I continued to work on my daily Inktober updates! I kept up with the daily practice of making a marker illustration. Until this weekend that is! This afternoon I’ll be playing catch up and making three quick illustrations. I am determined to make 31 days of marker illustrations by the end of the month.

I also went through the process of pricing all of the illustrations for sale, and I’ll be uploading them to my Etsy this week (hopefully). Most are $60 with free shipping, so let me know if you are interested! I’ll update you all first in case you’re interested in buying one before anyone else.

On Friday evening I participated in another local Art Walk, hosted by an organization called Trilogi in a gorgeous local restaurant and bar. I only sold $7 worth of products, but I met a lot of interested and interesting people, expanded my product range, and practiced my display.

I’m not sure if bar art walks are the most productive markets for me, but I’m happy to have tried them and met a few new people in the art walk world of Seattle! My next focus for potential markets are conventions and craft fairs.

Non-Art Life:

On Thursday as I was walking in my neighborhood I went in to a local cafe/shipping business that had a hiring sign outside. On a whim I applied and was interviewed on the spot, and hired later that afternoon! It pays a little more than my current cafe job, and is 10 minutes from my house rather than 40.

I’m not sure how my new schedule is going to work. I’m just determined to keep my creative career my focus.

Thanks for sticking with me through the ups and downs! Hopefully I’ll be more coherent next week.

You all are the best! Have a lovely week. ❣️

xoxo
