You're probably wondering where your damned Hobosode is. Well, I haven't made one YET this week, but I can almost guarantee you'll see one posted here before the weekend is over. I've been on vacation this week, which has involved driving across the country in my Hobomobile. The first stop was Las Vegas to experience the wonder of Defcon again. It was kind of boring and the most interesting person I met is pictured above.

I've mostly been sleeping at rest stops overnight in between driving a lot of the day. I'm finally at a spot I'm going to spend a few days at - my old hood of Galveston, Texas. Don't worry, I got a cheap hotel here, I'm not sleeping on the beaches.  Tonight I should be doing some request pranks for a Hobosode, but instead I'm trying to fix all my websites that are broken, which seems to be all of them.  Phonelosers.com should be back up by tomorrow.  The other ones - we'll see how it goes tonight. Even though I paid 5 years on all of my SSL certificates last year, they still "expire" each year and I have to do something to get them going again. I forget what. This is thanks to Namecheap's horrible SSL utilities. I really need to get off that server.

During my travels, I went and met Beverly (yes, THAT Beverly) in person. The last time I pranked her, she stupidly told me where she works. So I went in and she showed me some things in the store and we chatted for a bit, and I bought some things from her. She was super nice, but seemed wary of me, as if she knew my voice. In my mind at the time, she knew exactly who I was and was being super careful with me, as if in a hostage situation. I noted where her purse was, so that if she reached in to grab a gun and blow my belly button through my spine, I could quickly run out. In the end, we said our nervous goodbyes and I left with my new merchandise.

Also, I may have accidentally hit a button and recorded the entire thing. I still haven't listened to the audio and I probably won't play it on this weekend's Hobosode, because I need to do some editing on it and see what's useable. Be looking forward to that probably next week though. In all seriousness, it's probably boring audio. I was nervous talking to her because I was sure she was going to recognize my voice.

I'm going to be on the road until the Chicago meetup on September 9th and 10th. This weekend I'm relaxing a bunch, and making a Hobosode and hopefully working on some other cool things. Next week I'm heading to Corpus Christi, Texas for a day or two. I used to live there too and I'm not sure why I'm stopping there this time. Mainly so I don't have to drive 6 hours in a day. After that I'm going to Boca Chica, Texas to see Elon's sexy big rockets in person. There's a 6.9% chance that I could see their second attempt launching their Starship test rocket while I'm there, but I won't get my hopes up.

It's been a rough week of driving and extreme heat and even a dead car battery one morning, but I should start having a lot more free time in the coming weeks and I should be able to keep up on Hobosodes and Snow Plow Shows from now on. Hopefully you noticed that I posted a SPS a few days ago that I recorded at a rest stop. Go listen to it on YouTube, since the website it's hosted on is probably down right now.

Thanks for messaging me and being concerned that I've disappeared and all of my websites are suddenly going to shit! Keep my websites in your prayers as I fight through Namecheap's horrible interfaces for the next few hours.

I love you,

Brad

Can someone point me a newer hobo patreonical person in the direction of where this Beverly saga began? I’m missing so much lore but can’t get enough of those calls alluding to her
