Hi folks,

Things have progressed well over the past few weeks and we have finally finished the cosplay scene (just some animation tidy-up required).  As mentioned previously, we are constantly trying to improve our quality and expand the game every episode.  We have really tried to push the envelope on this Cosplay scene -It now has music, sound effects, etc.- and a story within a story....

Did this scene take a LOT longer than we planned?   Yes... (and then some)....But we think you are really gonna like it.  And if you don't, then we will be severely disappointed and some of the team will be fired.... :) :) . In all seriousness - To pre-empt the question:  Why do we keep increasing our development time between episodes?   If we kept the same level of quality as earlier episodes, we would no doubt get episodes out quicker.  But for the dev team, this would become very boring and when we spend the amount of hours we do, working on the game...we have to keep trying new things and expanding our own skillset...Otherwise we would go insane and the game would look terrible.  And we also believe that for most players...the improved quality, the multi-verse of branching/options and the extra features we continue to add (i.e. the jump to any episode function)....If we didn't continuously raise the bar with each episode...we think you would become bored too.

The Cosplay scene takes up a LOT of this episode and also is the most heavily intensive scene from an artwork perspective so to have it finished is a major milestone!  I also hope to have the Elaine scene finished in the next two days and we are also deep into the Debbie / Jo / Bella scenes.

I took a couple of days off work (my normal/real job) last week and am off all of this week so I can spend ALL of my time on the game...so by the end of this week, I should have a fairly clear idea of how much work/time is left and I should be in a position to give a fairly accurate release date.

A couple of other updates:  Episode 21 walkthrough is complete (I'll post it for the relevant tiers today) and episode 22 walkthrough should also be out this week (completed but needs a little tidy-up) - big thanks to Moonlight (one of our QC team) for writing this and for spotting typos and issues in our coding which we have subsequently corrected.

As previously mentioned, we discontinued the gallery feature since episode 18.  The coder who created this for us is no longer involved in adult gaming...and the way the gallery was created was very cumbersome (basically we ended up with two version of every script that we had to maintain - one for gallery, one for the game) so it just wasn't feasible to maintain and we also put our efforts into the "Jump to any episode" feature which for a game of this size is (IMO) a much more needed function.  I do plan on expanding this feature by  adding a "jump to any scene" which would in essence give the same options as the gallery function (i.e. the ability to jump in and play a specific scene with a specific girl).   It's a little but tricky (especially with my hack 'n' slash approach to coding) but I hope to get it working.

I previously compared artwork from earlier episodes to now and people were really interested (and I got a lot of questions about it) so wanted to share a few more below  (also a good excuse to post some episode 22 teasers :) )

Also...If any of you want to help out with QC / Beta testing episode 23, we have plenty of stuff for you to play.   Come over to our discord:  https://discord.gg/PaxbKpsRm6 and message us @Developer and we'll set you up.  Or if you're not on discord, send me a message here on Patreon.

Remember...to be a beta tester, you need to be able to do a manual install of the game, copying/pasting into the correct folders (similar to a patch update)

As always, let me know if any questions or comments.

Thanks,

CG

MoonLight

You're very welcome for the Walkthrough, it was a pleasure! :)

Also of note... the late game quality/additions will in time be applied to the early game. We just figure most people would like us to continue the story rather than spend to much time revamping.
