Start of week update (Patreon)

Hi All,

Not a lot to add about what's coming up in Episode 16.   The scene/episode overview mentioned in previous posts is still the plan.

As far as a progress report goes - At this stage in the process I'd say we are slightly behind where we'd like to be for episode 16 but that's nothing new at this stage in the episode development (we are usually behind at this stage).  And as usual we expect to pick up the pace now that we're into the second half of the dev cycle so at the moment no concerns about hitting a mid-December release.  We just want to make sure it's a decent sized episode.

Also - We spoke recently about having a festive, i.e. Christmas / New Year episode(s) so just wanted to share my thoughts/ plans....

I definitely want to have a festive episode but... I think it would feel too rushed / out of place to add it into the next episode so we won't have a Christmas episode for the Christmas period release.

However I still want to have a festive episode, so here's what I plan... The final episode(s) / epilogues (when they eventually come) will take place a short time  after the main bulk of the game (e.g. a couple of months will have passed in-game)  so I think that would be a good time to add the festive theme.

So the finale(s) will take place (in-game) around the holiday periods.  I think that will add a bit more to the final episodes and the in-game passage of time will make it a bit more plausible, rather than going straight from a beach episode to a Xmas episode.
