Great show to watch. Some facts about the show: There will definitely be cameos of people you know of over the course of the show, many scenes are in fact filmed in Richmond, the scenes that are filmed in the stadium are actually filmed at Crystal Palace's stadium (though the training grounds scenes are filmed elsewhere), the show is based off a series of commercials advertising premier league games being broadcast on NBC in the States (highly recommend watching them on YouTube sometime), the actor that plays Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) is actually a writer on the show and took a risk and sent in an audition tape for the part and now he's in Marvel movies, AFC Richmond is a playable club in Fifa 23, and lastly some of the characters in the show are named after Jason Sudeikis' friends in real life.

I’d note that Jason Sudeikis grew up just outside Kansas City, so he’s a big Chiefs fan.
